Bio
Mumford & Sons are a British folk-rock band formed in London in 2007. The group, fronted by Marcus Mumford, blends acoustic instrumentation with rock energy and draws heavily on Americana and British folk traditions. Their debut album Sigh No More (2009) brought them international attention, followed by the chart-topping Babel (2012) and Wilder Mind (2015), which marked a shift toward electric rock. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards and collaborated with artists including Elvis Costello, Baaba Maal, and Hozier. Their sound is characterized by driving banjo, guitar, and anthemic choruses.
