J-Kwon is an American rapper from St. Louis, Missouri, who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s. He is best known for his 2004 debut single "Tipsy," which became a major hit and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album Hood Hop followed the same year, establishing his presence in the hip-hop scene with its blend of club-oriented production and youthful energy.
