Mike Patton is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in Eureka, California, in 1968. He is best known as the lead vocalist of Faith No More, joining the band in 1988 and contributing to albums such as The Real Thing and Angel Dust. Patton is also the founder and frontman of the experimental rock band Mr. Bungle, and has been involved in numerous other projects including Fantômas, Tomahawk, and the avant-garde supergroup Peeping Tom. Throughout his career, Patton has explored a wide range of musical styles, from alternative metal and punk to experimental, electronic, and orchestral music. He is recognized for his versatile vocal abilities and has collaborated with artists across genres, including the Kronos Quartet and composer John Zorn. Patton continues to release music and perform with various projects, maintaining a reputation as one of the most eclectic and innovative figures in contemporary music.
