Bio
Shavo Odadjian is an Armenian-American musician and bassist best known as a founding member of the rock band System of a Down. Born in Yerevan in 1974, he moved to Los Angeles as a child and later co-formed the group in 1994 alongside Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, and John Dolmayan. Beyond System of a Down, Odadjian has explored side projects such as Achozen and has worked as a producer and visual artist. His bass playing is noted for its heavy, rhythmic style that blends metal, punk, and Armenian folk influences.
