Bio
Noriko Ogawa is a Japanese classical pianist born in Kawasaki in 1962. She studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and later at the Juilliard School, where she won the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1987. Known for her interpretations of French impressionist composers such as Debussy and Ravel, she has also championed contemporary Japanese works and recorded extensively for BIS Records.
