Bio
Barrie is a Brooklyn-based dream pop group known for lush, atmospheric soundscapes and introspective songwriting. The project blends shimmering guitars, soft synth textures, and delicate vocals to create a hazy, nostalgic mood that has drawn comparisons to artists like Beach House and Cocteau Twins. Since emerging in the late 2010s, Barrie has released a series of singles and EPs on the Winspear label, gradually building a dedicated following with their distinctive blend of indie and dream pop. Their music often explores themes of memory, longing, and emotional ambiguity, wrapped in warm, reverb-drenched production.
