Anika is a British singer-songwriter, poet, DJ, photographer, and filmmaker born in Woking, Germany in 1987. She is known for her distinctive vocal style and eclectic musical influences that span post-punk, dub, and electronic music. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2010 on the Stones Throw label, featuring covers of songs by artists such as The Slits, Yoko Ono, and The Kinks, reinterpreted with a dark, atmospheric production style.
