Bio

Laxmikant–Pyarelal was an Indian composer duo consisting of Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar (1937–1998) and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma (born 1940). Active from the early 1960s, they became one of the most prolific and successful music director teams in Bollywood, scoring music for over 750 films. Their work spans ghazals, romantic ballads, and energetic dance numbers, shaping the sound of Hindi cinema for more than three decades.
