Tony Yayo is an American rapper from South Jamaica, Queens, best known as a member of the hip-hop collective G-Unit. Born Marvin Bernard on March 31, 1978, he rose to prominence in the early 2000s alongside childhood friends 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. His debut album, Thoughts of a Predicate Felon (2005), entered the Billboard 200 at number 2 and featured the hit single “So Seductive.” Yayo’s style blends gritty East Coast lyricism with street narratives, and he has continued releasing mixtapes and collaborating within the G-Unit circle.
