Marco Antonio Solís is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and producer born in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán. He rose to fame in the 1970s as the lead vocalist of Los Bukis, a grupera band that became one of Latin America’s best-selling acts. After the group disbanded in 1995, Solís launched a solo career that has produced numerous chart-topping albums in the grupera, ranchera, and Latin pop genres. His emotive ballads and romantic songwriting have earned him multiple Latin Grammy Awards and widespread acclaim across the Spanish-speaking world. Solís also maintains an active touring schedule and continues to release new music through his independent label.
