Bio
Maxïmo Park are an English alternative rock band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2000. The group rose to prominence in the mid-2000s with their energetic indie-rock sound and Paul Smith’s distinctive vocals, releasing their debut album A Certain Trigger in 2005. Their subsequent releases, including Our Earthly Pleasures and The National Health, continued to explore themes of modern life and relationships while maintaining a reputation for sharp, guitar-driven songwriting.
