XG is a seven-member Japanese girl group based in South Korea, formed in 2022 under XGALX. The members—Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona—were trained in Japan before relocating to Seoul for their official debut. Their music blends hip-hop, R&B, and dance-pop, with English-language lyrics and self-produced choreography. The group gained international attention with their debut single "Tippy Toes" and subsequent releases such as "Mascara" and "Shooting Star." XG is noted for its global outlook, drawing on both J-pop and K-pop influences while targeting a worldwide audience.
