Bio

Trinity (born Wade "Junior" Brammer, 12 February 1954 – 2021) was a Jamaican reggae deejay from Kingston. He rose to prominence in the mid-1970s with his distinctive toasting style and became one of the leading figures in the transition from rocksteady to roots reggae and dub. Throughout his career, Trinity recorded for many of Jamaica’s top producers, including Yabby You, Joe Gibbs, and Bunny Lee. His hits such as "Three Piece Suit" and "Jah Jah in de Valley" showcased his witty lyrics and rhythmic delivery, while his collaborations with artists like Dillinger and Al Campbell helped define the deejay sound of the era. Trinity remained active into the 1980s and 1990s, adapting to the digital dancehall era while maintaining his roots-reggae foundation. He continued to tour internationally and release music until his death in 2021.
