Francesco Tristano (born 16 September 1981) is a Luxembourgish pianist and composer whose work spans classical repertoire and electronic experimentation. Trained at the Conservatoire de Paris and the Juilliard School, he is known for blending Baroque and contemporary classical forms with minimalist and techno influences. His recordings include reinterpretations of works by Bach, Ravel, and Stravinsky alongside original compositions that incorporate prepared piano, synthesizers, and live electronics. Tristano performs both as a soloist and with ensembles, and he maintains an active international touring schedule.
