Grupo Cañaveral de Humberto Pabón is a Mexican cumbia ensemble founded in the early 1990s by bandleader Humberto Pabón. The group is known for its energetic live shows and for popularizing the "cumbia sonidera" style, a high-energy variant of cumbia that incorporates electronic elements and rapid percussion. Their repertoire also includes salsa numbers, reflecting the broader tropical music scene of Mexico and Central America. Over three decades the band has released numerous albums and remains a staple on regional radio and dance floors.
