Bio

Roberto Vecchioni is an Italian singer-songwriter and poet born in Carate Brianza in 1943. He is known for his literary approach to songwriting, often drawing on classical and contemporary poetry as well as philosophical themes. Over a career spanning more than five decades, Vecchioni has released numerous albums and has been recognized with several awards, including the Tenco Prize. He has also worked as a university lecturer in Italian literature.
