Bio
Le Concert des Nations is a Spanish early-music ensemble founded in 1989 by conductor and harpsichordist Jordi Savall. The group specializes in historically informed performances of Baroque, Renaissance, and Classical repertoire, often using period instruments and scholarly research to recreate the sound-worlds of the 17th and 18th centuries. Based in Spain, the ensemble has become internationally recognized for its recordings and concerts that explore both Iberian and broader European musical traditions.
