Low

Bio

Low was an American indie rock band formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 1993. The group became known for their minimalist slowcore sound, characterized by sparse arrangements, hushed vocals, and introspective lyrics. Over three decades, Low released thirteen studio albums and developed a devoted following within the indie music community. Their music evolved from early slowcore roots to incorporate elements of dream pop and post-rock while maintaining their signature restraint and emotional depth. The band remained active until 2023, when they disbanded following the death of founding member Mimi Parker.
