Kevin Morby is an American singer-songwriter born in Lubbock, Texas in 1988. He is known for his introspective folk and indie rock compositions that often explore themes of love, loss, and the American landscape. Morby began his musical career as a bassist in the band Woods before launching his solo career with the 2013 album Harlem River. His subsequent releases, including City Music and Singing Saw, have established him as a distinctive voice in contemporary indie music.
