Maribou State is an English electronic music duo formed in London in 2011. The project is known for blending downtempo, house, and indie electronic styles, often incorporating live instrumentation and field recordings. They gained wider recognition with their 2015 debut album "Portraits" and its follow-up "Kingdoms in Colour" (2018), both released on Counter Records.
