Bio
Thomas Bangalter is a French musician, record producer, and DJ best known as one half of the electronic music duo Daft Punk. Born in Paris on 3 January 1975, he began his career in the early 1990s, initially performing in the rock band Darlin' before transitioning to electronic music. Alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Bangalter co-founded Daft Punk, whose albums such as Homework (1997) and Discovery (2001) helped define the French house genre. In addition to his work with Daft Punk, Bangalter has released solo material and composed film scores, including the soundtrack for Gaspar Noé's Irréversible (2002).
