Canned Heat is an American blues rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The group gained prominence in the late 1960s with hits such as "On the Road Again" and "Going Up the Country," the latter becoming an anthem of the Woodstock era. Known for their boogie-blues sound and energetic live performances, Canned Heat has maintained a presence in the blues-rock scene for over five decades.
