Bio
Robert Plant is an English singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of Led Zeppelin. Born in West Bromwich in 1948, he rose to fame in the late 1960s with the band’s blues-infused hard rock sound. After Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980, Plant pursued a successful solo career, releasing albums such as Pictures at Eleven and Now and Zen, and later collaborated with Alison Krauss on the Grammy-winning Raising Sand.
