Sixpence None the Richer is an American alternative rock band formed in New Braunfels, Texas, in 1993. The group gained international recognition in the late 1990s with their hit single "Kiss Me," which reached the top of the charts in several countries. Their self-titled album, released in 1997, showcased their blend of pop sensibilities and introspective lyrics. The band, led by vocalist Leigh Nash and guitarist Matt Slocum, continued to release music into the 2000s, exploring themes of faith, love, and personal growth.
