Hijos de Barrón is a Mexican regional music group formed in Angostura, Sinaloa in 2009. The band specializes in banda, corrido, norteño, and sierreño styles, including the melancholic sad sierreño subgenre. They have built a following throughout northern Mexico and among regional Mexican audiences in the United States with their traditional instrumentation and narrative songwriting.
