Elizabeth Fraser is a Scottish singer best known as the lead vocalist of the Cocteau Twins. Born in Grangemouth in 1963, she rose to prominence in the 1980s with her distinctive, wordless vocal style that became a hallmark of the band's ethereal sound. After the Cocteau Twins disbanded in 1997, Fraser pursued a solo career and collaborated with artists such as Massive Attack, contributing to the trip-hop genre.
