Bio
Chris Corner (born 23 January 1974) is an English musician, songwriter and record producer best known as the frontman of the electronic project IAMX. He first gained prominence in the 1990s as a founding member of the trip-hop band Sneaker Pimps, contributing to their debut album Becoming X before leaving the group in 1998. Under the IAMX moniker, Corner has released a series of albums that blend dark electronic, synth-pop and cabaret influences, often exploring themes of sexuality, identity and mental health. He maintains a DIY approach to recording and visual presentation, frequently handling production, artwork and live visuals himself.
