Jesse Rutherford is an American singer, songwriter, and producer born on August 21, 1991, in Newbury Park, California. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band The Neighbourhood, which gained widespread recognition with their 2012 single "Sweater Weather." In addition to his work with the band, Rutherford has pursued solo projects under his own name, exploring a range of electronic and pop-influenced sounds.
