The Bug is the recording alias of Kevin Martin, a British producer and musician based in London. Active since the early 1990s, he is known for blending heavy bass, industrial textures, and Jamaican sound-system aesthetics across dub, dubstep, grime, and drone-metal projects. Martin has released music under several monikers and collaborated with a wide range of vocalists and instrumentalists. His work often explores themes of urban pressure and sonic extremity, and he has run influential labels such as Pressure and Ninja Tune imprints.
