Jim James is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and producer best known as the frontman of the rock band My Morning Jacket. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he has also released solo work under his own name and the pseudonym Yim Yames. His music blends elements of rock, psychedelia, and Americana, and he is recognized for his distinctive falsetto vocals and experimental production style.
