Mr. Scruff is the stage name of Andrew Carthy, an English DJ and producer born in Macclesfield in 1972. He is known for blending acid jazz, downtempo, electro swing, nu jazz, and trip hop into eclectic, sample-heavy sets and recordings. His work often features playful, humorous elements and has been released on the Ninja Tune label.
