Alborosie, born Alberto D'Ascola on 4 April 1977 in Marsala, Sicily, is an Italian reggae artist who relocated to Kingston, Jamaica in the early 2000s. He gained recognition as a multi-instrumentalist and producer, working with the Shengen Clan sound system and later releasing solo material on his own label. His music blends traditional roots reggae with modern production, and he has collaborated with artists such as Horace Andy and Chronixx.
