Bio
La Sonora Dinamita is a Colombian cumbia ensemble founded in 1960 in Cartagena. The group became one of the most influential exporters of cumbia throughout Latin America, blending traditional brass-band instrumentation with modern sonidero arrangements. Over six decades the band has released dozens of albums and maintained a rotating lineup of vocalists while preserving its signature upbeat, dance-oriented sound.
