Florian Silbereisen is a German singer, television presenter and multi-instrumentalist born on 4 August 1981 in Tiefenbach, Bavaria. He rose to prominence in the Schlager and Alpine-folk scene, releasing numerous albums that blend traditional polka rhythms with contemporary pop arrangements. Silbereisen is also widely recognized as the long-time host of popular German television shows such as "Das Sommerfest der Volksmusik" and "Schlagerchampions," where he regularly performs and introduces other artists in the genre.
