Bio

Rionegro & Solimões is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in the early 1990s by Carlos Alberto de Oliveira (Rionegro) and Mauro Ferreira (Solimões). Known for blending traditional sertanejo with agronejo and university sertanejo styles, they gained popularity with heartfelt lyrics about rural life and love. Their music has become a staple in Brazilian country music, appealing to both older fans of classic sertanejo and younger audiences.
