The Wiener Symphoniker, founded in 1933 in Vienna, Austria, is one of the city’s two principal orchestras. It performs a wide repertoire ranging from the Viennese classics to contemporary works and maintains a strong presence in opera and concert seasons at the Musikverein and Theater an der Wien.
