Bio

Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey, 7 July 1940) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor who gained worldwide fame as the drummer for the Beatles. Known for his distinctive drumming style and relaxed personality, he contributed to many of the band's most iconic recordings and also sang lead on several Beatles tracks including "Yellow Submarine" and "With a Little Help from My Friends." After the Beatles disbanded in 1970, Starr launched a successful solo career, releasing hits such as "It Don't Come Easy" and "Photograph." He has continued to record and tour, both as a solo artist and with his All-Starr Band, and remains one of the most recognizable figures in rock music history.
