KT Tunstall is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Edinburgh in 1975. She first gained widespread recognition with her 2004 debut album Eye to the Telescope, which featured the hit single "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree." Tunstall is known for her distinctive voice, energetic live performances, and blending of folk, rock, and pop influences.
