Bio
William Orbit is an English musician, composer and record producer born in Shoreditch, London, in 1956. He is known for his work in electronic music, blending elements of downtempo, IDM and classical influences. Orbit gained prominence in the 1990s with his production work on Madonna's album Ray of Light and his own album Pieces in a Modern Style, which featured orchestral interpretations of electronic tracks. He has collaborated with numerous artists across genres and continues to release music under his own name.
