Bio
Jeremy Irons is an English actor born in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in 1948. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and began his career on stage before moving into film and television. Over a career spanning more than four decades, Irons has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions, including the films "The French Lieutenant's Woman," "Reversal of Fortune," and "The Lion King," where he provided the voice of Scar. He is known for his distinctive voice and versatile performances across drama, period pieces, and animated features.
