Bio
Kyoto Jazz Massive is a Japanese jazz collective formed in Kyoto in 1991. The group blends acid jazz, jazz-funk, jazz fusion, jazz house, and nu jazz, drawing on both live instrumentation and electronic production. Core members include Shuya Okino and Toshiyuki Yasuda, who have guided the project through numerous releases and collaborations with international artists. Their work has helped popularize Japanese club-oriented jazz both domestically and abroad.
