Sam Brown

Bio

Sam Brown is an English singer-songwriter born in Stratford, London, in 1964. She first gained recognition in the late 1980s with her debut album Stop!, which featured the international hit single “Stop!” and showcased her powerful, soulful voice. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s she released several further albums, collaborated with artists such as Pink Floyd and Jools Holland, and continued to perform and record in a range of rock, pop and soul styles.
