Bio
Jimmy Nail (born James Michael Aloysius Bradford, 16 March 1954) is an English singer-songwriter, actor and television presenter from Newcastle upon Tyne. He first rose to prominence in the 1980s playing the role of Leonard "Oz" Osbourne in the BBC television series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, which led to a successful recording career. His debut single "Love Don’t Live Here Anymore" reached the UK Top 10 in 1985, and his 1992 album Growing Up in Public produced the hit "Ain’t No Doubt," which topped the UK Singles Chart. Subsequent releases such as Crocodile Shoes (1994) and Big River (1995) also achieved commercial success, blending rock, pop and soul influences. In addition to his music career, Nail has continued acting in television and film, and has written and starred in his own stage musicals.
