Bio

Christina Pluhar is an Austrian lutenist, harpist, and conductor specializing in early music. Born in Graz in 1965, she studied lute and baroque guitar at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She founded the ensemble L'Arpeggiata in 2000, which has become known for its historically informed performances of baroque, Renaissance, and medieval repertoire.
