Bio
Mad Professor (born Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, 27 March 1955) is a British reggae and dub producer and engineer from Georgetown, Guyana. He moved to London in the 1960s and became a central figure in the UK reggae scene, founding the Ariwa label in 1979. Known for his innovative dub techniques, he has produced and remixed numerous artists including Lee "Scratch" Perry, Horace Andy, and Pato Banton. His work spans traditional roots reggae to electronic dub fusions, establishing him as one of the most influential dub producers of his generation.
