Bio
Gerard Presencer is a British jazz trumpeter, composer and educator born in Watford in 1972. He first came to prominence in the early 1990s as a member of the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra and as a sideman with big-band leaders such as Count Basie, Gil Evans and Stan Tracey. Presencer has since led his own groups, released several albums as a bandleader, and served as Professor of Trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
