Omar Apollo is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Hobart, Indiana. He first gained attention uploading bedroom recordings to SoundCloud in the mid-2010s and broke through with the 2017 mixtape Stereo. His music blends bedroom pop, R&B, funk, and indie elements, often featuring live instrumentation and bilingual lyrics. Subsequent releases include the EPs Apolonio and Live for Me, plus the 2022 debut album Ivory, which earned a Grammy nomination. Apollo has collaborated with artists such as Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis, and Tyler, the Creator, and has toured extensively across North America and Europe.
