Tak Matsumoto is a Japanese guitarist, composer, and record producer born in Toyonaka, Japan, on March 27, 1961. He is best known as the guitarist and co-founder of the hard rock band B'z, one of the best-selling music acts in Japanese history. Matsumoto's playing style blends rock, blues, and jazz fusion, and he has released numerous solo albums that showcase his instrumental work in jazz fusion and smooth jazz genres.
