Carlene Carter is an American country and rockabilly singer-songwriter born in Nashville, Tennessee. The daughter of June Carter and Carl Smith, she is part of the extended Carter Family musical lineage. She began performing as a child and released her debut album in 1978, later achieving success with albums such as I Fell in Love (1990) and Little Love Letters (1993). Her work blends traditional country with rock and rockabilly influences.
