Bio

Richard Dorfmeister is an Austrian musician and producer born in Vienna in 1968. He is best known as one half of the electronic music duo Kruder & Dorfmeister, alongside Peter Kruder. Their work in the 1990s helped define the downtempo and trip hop genres, particularly through influential remix compilations such as "The K&D Sessions." Dorfmeister has also released solo material and collaborated on various side projects exploring similar atmospheric and groove-oriented electronic styles.
